The gardens are open from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of Hyde Park's blooming gardens.

 

Join us for a tour filled with passion and plants, as we take you on a seasonal journey through the gardeners' world. Explore the vibrant colors, fragrant scents, and lush greenery that make Hyde Park a botanical paradise. Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with nature and fellow plant enthusiasts!

Earth Day Event - 4/29/2023 at Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County

HPVEC will be tabling at the Earth Day event organized by Dutchess County Solid Waste Management of the Dutchess County Department of Planning.

​

Stop by to see us and learn about what we do. We will be planting White Wood Aster seeds in pots made of toilet paper rolls.

These seeds do not need a winter or cold period to germinate. Sow the seeds outdoors from November through April. White Woodland Asters will multiply and look beautiful planted in masses. They require little care. Water regularly until established.
