THE HYDE PARK IN BLOOM GARDEN TOUR
The biennial HPIB garden tour celebrates early summer with a showcase of private and public gardens throughout Hyde Park. Visitors enjoy a mix of well-designed gardens sure to delight. Guests can expect a day of inspiration along a self-guided tour, complete with tour map and refreshments. Knowledgeable docents greet visitors at each location happily answering horticultural questions and highlighting the site's best features. In past years, many of our benevolent homeowners have opened their homes for viewing and are on site to answer inquiries. Proceeds from this community event help support the HPVEC's beautification, education and advocacy programs. If you've never been on this tour before, you're in for a real treat. To get an idea of what to expect, please visit our photo gallery page for some highlights of past tours and our documents page of press coverage of this event.
"The homeowners were delightful and welcoming and they would willingly share their information with you. It's a new adventure every year!! Along the tour you get a lot of great ideas for your own home and garden."
Cheryl O'Leary; tour attendee
"It was delightful to meet new people and re-connect with old neighbors. It's special to share your efforts and receive appreciation from others. Not only was I giving information, but receiving it as well. Very pleased how people were extremely respectful of my property."
